CPR - 12.00pm - 2.00pm

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines on a person (infant, child, and adult) who is unresponsive and not breathing until the arrival of professional assistance.

HealthEdge Training delivers this course using a combination of online pre-course study plus 2 hours of practical training

All enrolled students must complete the online multiple choice CPR workbook and print out their pre-course completion certificate and bring it to the class.

First Aid - 12.00pm - 5.30pm

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide emergency care, including CPR to an ill and/or injured person, to coordinate first aid until the arrival of professional assistance and how to effectively communicate and document the incident. 

This course is delivered using blended learning, includes a range of theoretical and practical tasks and involves the use of simulated scenarios which reflect real-life situations occurring in the community and the acute on field emergencies that may occur. 

HealthEdge Training Vic delivers this course using a combination of online pre-course study plus 5.5 hours of practical training

All participants must complete the online multiple choice First Aid workbook and print out their pre-course completion certificate and bring it to the class.
